relevance

As a result of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, the occupation of the city, and the flooding caused by the explosion at the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station, many people have lost their homes and documents; however, those affected do not always have the resources or means to effectively replace their documents, as this usually requires legal representation and support.
Victims are unable to exercise their right to work, access certain medical services, administrative services, or justice, due to the lack of necessary documents; most of them cannot receive assistance from the state or other organisations without an identity document. Victims also face housing difficulties, as they require supporting documents to receive assistance.
We also believe that the following areas require attention in the city:
Protecting the rights of prisoners of war, supporting and protecting the rights and interests of military personnel and former military personnel, and ensuring they receive the benefits to which they are entitled.
Public advocacy for human rights and freedoms, and anti-corruption work.
Documenting violations of the law and protecting those facing discrimination.
